Orell Füssli provides logistics and other services for libraries and businesses.
Orell Füssli was founded over 500 years ago and generates sales of some CHF 250 million with roughly 600 employees at locations in five countries. Orell Füssli is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Strategy
Together with the management team and other involved partners, the company’s board of directors determines the strategy of the Orell Füssli Group and of the various operational units, and approves the annual budgets and required objectives. It reviews the portfolio of activities on an ongoing basis and takes corrective action when required.
The group CEO is responsible for implementation of the strategy and achievement of the objectives. He or she manages the overall direction of development of the various operational units.
Carrying out their business independently in line with the specified requirements, these business units report to the CEO. Across all of their activities, the units endeavor to maintain a strong position in their respective markets.
