Orell Füssli: New Head of the Publishing Division
Zurich, February 14, 2011. Dr. Matti Schüsseler has been appointed Head of the Publishing Division and Member of the Management Board of the Orell Füssli Group, effective March 1, 2011. He will succeed Alex Aepli, who retired at the end of 2010.
Schüsseler (51), a German national, has spent the past 14 years at Langenscheidt KG, Munich, as Director Marketing and Distribution and was responsible for the German-speaking book market and worldwide distribution. Before joining Langenscheidt, Schüsseler was CEO of Ernst Klett Vertriebsgesellschaft, Stuttgart, and held senior positions at FNAC Germany and at Bertelsmann Verlag.
Schüsseler has a degree in literature and linguistics from the University of Constance. He is married and father of a daughter.
