Category: 2011

Zurich, July 27, 2011.  After five years as General Manager of Atlantic Zeiser GmbH in Emmingen/Germany, Oliver C. Mehler has decided to leave the company in order to form his own business. In his five years at Atlantic Zeiser, Oliver C. Mehler has continued the company’s development into an extremely innovative and competitive enterprise in an international business environment. Atlantic Zeiser is now one of the leading suppliers of industrial printing and coding solutions for demanding substrates. These applications are to be found in the fields of banknote printing, passport and identification systems, value cards, and increasingly in the packaging industry for applying variable data during the manufacturing process.

The Board of Directors and the Executive Board of Orell Füssli Holding AG wish to thank Oliver C. Mehler most warmly for his great commitment and the services he has rendered to Atlantic Zeiser. They wish him personally all the best and much success in the future.

The search for a successor has been launched. Michel Kunz, CEO of the holding company, will assume overall responsibility for the Atlantic Zeiser Group ad interim. Thomas Obitz, currently Deputy GM, will be responsible for the operating business of Atlantic Zeiser GmbH.
