Orell Füssli receives go-ahead to print the new Swiss banknotes

Zurich, October 6, 2011. The Swiss National Bank has instructed Orell Füssli Security Printing Ltd to commence printing of the new, 9th issue of Swiss banknotes. This order from the Swiss National Bank is of strategic significance for Orell Füssli. Printing this 9th issue will contribute to the healthy utilisation of the security printing facility’s capacity in the years to come. The order which has now been placed for the first print run of 50-franc notes is in line with the production volume on which Orell Füssli has based its planning.
